Renault Trucks has launched a new Master six-tonne rigid 6×2 low deck chassis cab. It features both low cab and cargo entry, increased internal load dimensions and high payloads.
The new van is being positioned as an alternative to the 7.5-tonne 4×2 truck category that is most popular for urban and haulage operations.
The Master 6×2 is plated at six tonnes GVW and offers payloads in excess of three tonnes. It is powered by a 165hp EVI Heavy Duty engine, with a six-speed gearbox.
The vehicle has been designed in partnership with approved bodybuilder P.D Stevens & Sons of Market Drayton and is tailored to suit a variety of body styles.

The Master 6×2 chassis cab is available from Renault Trucks dealers, rather than Renault passenger car dealers who handle sales for lower-rating Master models and smaller Renault vans under 3.5 tonnes.
