Renault is expanding its Master range of mid-sized vans with new tipper and Luton box van variants.
Marketed under the Pro+ commercial vehicles line-up, an aluminium tipper joins the existing steel body tippers, and the Luton box van range is updated with several improvements over the outgoing versions.
Compared to the steel-body tippers the new aluminium version offers lighter weight but an increased payload, taking up to 150kg.
Also on offer is a variant with a secure tool box between the cab and the tipper body while a wide accessory range includes beacons, tow-bars, cages and tail-lifts.
Renault’s accredited converter partner VFS produces the tipper models from the standard chassis, with prices for the Master Aluminium Tipper starting from £32,300 plus VAT.
Changes to the new range of Master Luton box vans include increased payloads at more competitive prices.
Depending on version specified the payload improves by between 40 to 60kg over the outgoing model. Basic list prices, meanwhile, drop by £950 due both to a price reduction and the Luton box now listed as part of the vehicle’s standard specification rather than as an option.
A column-mounted tail-lift can now also be specified for the Luton box van.
Truckcraft is responsible for converting Master chassis cabs to Luton box vans and prices start from £31,850 plus VAT.
Also now on offer for all versions of the aluminium tipper and Luton box van is Renault Pro+ Business trim. A number of extras are topped by a more extensive safety suite including ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution and Electronic Stability Control.
Business trim includes height and lumbar adjustment in the driver’s seat, an armrest, electric windows and cup holders. Electric, heated door mirrors, a DAB radio, CD player, Bluetooth smartphone connection and a 12V socket in the dashboard are also on the specification.
